Yaşar Arslan

Yaşar Arslan graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Metallurgy and served as Chief Operating Officer at EMAŞ A.Ş. between 1985 and 1987. Subsequently, he held management positions at Al-Fahd in Saudi Arabia for five years. After returning to Turkey, he worked in various management positions at İGDAŞ Istanbul Natural Gas Project for five years.

In 1996, Yaşar Arslan joined Vinsan as Project Manager and assumed responsibility for major projects such as İzmit Natural Gas Project, İzmit Environmental Integrated Project and Marmaris Environmental Integrated Project. In 2004, Yaşar Arslan joined Aksa Natural Gas as General Coordinator and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and was appointed President of Aksa Natural Gas Distribution and Trade Group in 2010.

YaşarArslan continues to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors of 21 natural gas distribution and natural gas wholesale companies within Kazancı Holding, and also serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of two electricity distribution companies. Yaşar Arslan was appointed as a member of Kazancı Holding's Board of Directors in November 2024.

Yaşar Arslan was one of the founders of the Turkish Natural Gas Distributors Association (GAZBİR) and served as its Secretary General for three terms. Currently serving as the President of GAZBIR for four terms, Yaşar Arslan is also the Vice Chairman of the Natural Gas Assembly of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). In addition, he has also served as the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Electricity Distribution Services Association (Elder) for two consecutive terms and as the Deputy Chairman of the Energy Efficiency Association.
